Meet the Author – Weijian Shan “Money Machine – A Trailblazing American Venture in China”

Last Friday evening, we were proud to host the esteemed Dr. Weijian Shan for a captivating “Meet the Author” book talk. Dr. Shan shared insights from his latest book, “Money Machine – A Trailblazing American Venture in China”, along with his fascinating journey from a barefoot doctor in the Gobi to a world-leading private equity titan.

The event featured an engaging fireside chat with Dr. Shan, moderated by our Dean, Professor Hongbin Cai. It was a great opportunity for our alumni, students, and numerous attending Wharton alumni to connect and exchange ideas. We can’t wait to see what’s next for Dr. Shan!
