HIGHLIGHT:
HKU Business School’s Alumni Pop-up Counter at Congregation on 7-8 July drew crowds of graduands, families, and friends eager to explore exclusive souvenirs. Beyond the memorabilia, the event highlighted our thriving alumni community, warmly welcoming new graduates to join, network, and build lasting connections.

HIGHLIGHT:
We are pleased to welcome back a crowd of about 1,000 business school alumni, along with their friends and family members, to the campus for a delightful afternoon on HKU Alumni Day on March 16. It was a cherished opportunity for our alumni to reminisce about their campus experiences, reconnect, and reignite their shared experiences.

HIGHLIGHT:
In this issue, President Teddy Liu extends warm Chinese New Year greetings, emphasizing community connections and support among alumni. Notable events include the captivating lecture by the Nobel Laureate Prof. James Robinson, which attracted nearly 400 attendees, and the successful “Future of Hong Kong Economy Conference 2025,” featuring discussions on sustainable growth. The launch of the HKU Business School Middle East Alumni Network marks an exciting expansion, fostering collaboration within the UAE community. Additionally, Singapore Alumni Chapter celebrated the Lunar New Year with a delightful dinner, strengthening ties within the network.

HIGHLIGHT:
The newsletter issue #9 provides a recap of recent events organized by the HKUBSAA, including the GBA Dongguan Adventure, alumni sharing sessions, coffee appreciation workshops, and guest lectures. It also highlights upcoming events such as the Nobel Laureate Lecture and the 4th Annual General Meeting. Additionally, the newsletter features community updates on new privileges for members, including discounts at various establishments. The Alumni Corner section presents interviews with HKUBSAA alumni Donald Lee and Eric Luo, sharing insights on their career paths and experiences.

HIGHLIGHT:
The 2nd edition of the Insight Forum Series, featured Ms. Poman Lo, Vice Chairman of Century City International Holdings Limited, shared insights on sustainability and responsible business practices in a fireside chat facilitated by Mr. Francis Cheng, CEO of Number One PR Limited. The forum highlighted the importance of leadership in promoting sustainable practices and the future of green technology was attended by 40 alumni and faculty members at the HKU campus Senior Common Room.
